Every so often, she'd get bored, lick another body part, consider it for a minute, write out a post-it, and stick it to the affected area.

So far she liked her right pigtail best.
One of the best things about Fandom, Vala decided as she pried a basement window open, was the trusting nature of its residents. Seriously, a fully furnished room in a house, and they don't even lock the windows?

She slithered in through the window, and fell to the floor with a quiet "Ooof."

Moments later, the overhead light flicked on, and a young man--correction, a handsome young man--was looking down at her disapprovingly. She scrambled to her feet quickly and fixed her hair, grinning at him. "Hello. May I compliment you on your lovely home?"

He smirked at her and leaned against the doorframe. "Sure."

"Well, I wasn't expecting that, but it's very well furnished, and spacious, and contains many book shelves. Now that I'm inside, though, I do notice a certain must or mildew odor. You might want to get that checked out." She smirked back.

"We had a flood."

Vala was still admiring him. "Yes, that would do it."

"Do you need a place to stay?" He was sizing her up and Vala tried not to squirm under his look. She'd had less thorough examinations by many different police agencies. "You'll have to pay rent."

"I can do that," she said, almost embarrassed by that, "I have a job for the summer."

"Well, then," he offered his hand, "It's nice to meet you--"

"Vala Mal Doran," she supplied, taking it. Hmm. Good grip.

"Vala," he nodded, heading back up the stairs, "I'm Jarod. Nice to meet you."

"You too," she purred, stretching out on the bed on her side to appreciate the rear view.

[ooc: Vala has moved in, and the post is open to any housemates who want to greet her.
